The Modern Apprenticeship MA route is for anyone aged 16 years or over, in employment or working with an employer, who wish to gain skills and training whilst earning a wage through ‘doing’.

Whether you are male or female apprenticeships in various industries can be studied at Forth Valley College.  Engineering is an area that girls are being encouraged to progress into. The College works with employers in the engineering industry including OPITO and East Coast Rail who have female apprentices on their workforce.

Here are a number of student case studies who in their own words describe their apprenticeship experience.
