CompEx 01-04 Hazardous Areas

This nationally recognised course provides competence based training and assessment for electrical instrumentation technicians working in hazardous areas in offshore and onshore industrial environments. It will raise awareness of operative competence in the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and apparatus.

Entry requirements

Due to the intense nature of this course, it is expected that each candidate will already possess a sound understanding of electrical work at least in industrial electrical systems and also that they do some pre-study in hazardous area electrics before attending. The College can advise potential candidates on pre-study areas.
