The NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety is a globally recognised qualification. It is designed to provide the knowledge and understanding that underpins competent performance as an occupational health and safety practitioner. The NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety is at level 6 on the National Qualification Framework and is accredited by QCA, CAE and DELLS.

Candidates may progress onto a related degree programme.
There are no formal entry requirements although applicants who have completed the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or an equivalent will benefit from this course.
This course is targeted towards individuals aspiring to become health and safety professionals, building directly upon the foundation of knowledge provided by the NEBOSH National General Certificate.
Individuals will gain increased knowledge and understanding in regards to health and safety in the workplace. It also equips holders with the confidence and skills to advise on effective management of risk across a wide range of employment sectors.
