Carpentry & Joinery SVQ 

This programme is designed to allow candidates the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified tradesperson in carpentry and joinery. It combines practical training both on-the-job and off-the-job, knowledge and associated studies.

Target Audience

This course is designed for those looking to pursue a career in carpentry and joinery.

Entrance Criteria

Candidates must be employed by a company within the carpentry and joinery sector. They should also have four Standard Grades at Level 3/4 and above in relevant subjects. Applicants will be selected by interview and aptitude test.
