NEBOSH Certificate in Construction

The  NEBOSH  National  Certificate  in  Construction Health and Safety is a globally recognised qualification specifically for  the construction industry. The qualification is designed to provide professionals employed within the area of construction with the skills and knowledge to make  the industry safer. The course syllabus covers abroad range of construction hazards and the means by which they can be controlled.  It includes the main legal requirements  relating to construction work and enables individuals to undertake effective safety inspections on a construction site. 

The content of this course has been revised in line with the new Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007. It  is accredited at Level 3 in the National Qualifications Framework.

Target Audience

This course is targeted towards Line Managers or Supervisors working within the Construction Industry.  Owners or Managers of smaller consultancy companies may also find this qualification helps them to meet the requirements of clients and main contractors when working on other people’s premises or sites.

Entrance Criteria

There are no formal entry requirements but applicants should be involved with construction management or safety practice within a construction environment.
