Water Byelaws Course

This course is aimed at plumbers and  associated trades who are involved with the installation, design or specification of water systems or with buildings containing water systems. 

The course will introduce the water regulations and provide the training required to prove competency with  the Water Supply (Water Fittings)  Regulations 1999. The regulations will only apply to water supplied by the local authority in Scotland.  Successful candidates  will receive BPEC Certification and an Identification Card.

• Written Exercises 
• Fault Recognition Exercises
• Training Package and Video to be Issued 4 Weeks 
• Prior to Course (6 ½ Hours Self-Study)

Duration: 1 Day

Target Audience

This course is aimed primarily at practising plumbers although it will be useful to water inspectors and  anyone who is involved with the installation, design or specification of water systems or with buildings containing water systems.  

Entrance Criteria

Applicants must be employed within the water industry.
