Wood Machining SVQ

This apprenticeship programme aims to develop the craft skills and knowledge applicable to the modern day requirements of the wood machining industry through combining on-the-job and off-the-job practical training. The course will also include control and health and safety practices.

Work Based (Day Release)| Duration: 4 Years 

Target Audience

This programme is designed for those interested in pursuing a career in wood machining.

Entrance Criteria

Candidates must be employed by a company within the wood machining trade. They should also have four Standard Grades at level 3/4 or above. Applicants will be selected by interview and aptitude test.
