REHIS Food Hygiene Refresher

The course is taught using a workbook based approach using the Food Hygiene Handbook for Scotland.  There is also a short examination to assess candidates’ knowledge of food hygiene matters at Elementary Level.This course will update knowledge and skills relating to food hygiene. • Purchase and Storage of Food 
• Personal Hygiene
• Preparation, Cooking and Serving 
• Premises and Equipment
• Food Premises 
• Cleaning and Disinfection
• Legislation 

Mode of Attendance

Day (Public/Tailored)| Duration: 3 ½ Hour

Target Audience

This course is for those who have achieved an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate within the last 3 years.  

Entrance Criteria

Candidates will need to provide proof that they have achieved the Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate.
