Process Industries (MA)

This programme will develop the skills and technical awareness applicable to the chemical engineering industry and also provide knowledge of safeworking practices required. It will provide individuals with fundamental skillsand understanding with a major emphasis on the use of technology withinthis industrial plant context. The focus of the course is placed on the principles of chemical engineering and unit operations and practices.

Course Outline

The course consists of 3 elements that you will study – SVQ Level 3, HND Chemical Engineering & Core Skill Units.

Day Release | Duration: 1-3 Years

Target Audience

This course is suitable for those employed within the chemical industry.

Entrance Criteria

Candidates should be employed within the chemical industry. They should also have four Standard Grades at Level 3 or above including Maths, English, and Chemistry. Higher Maths or Chemistry would be desirable. Applicants will be selected by an interview and aptitude test.
