Get Ready for Work

The Get Ready for Work (GRfW) programme is for young people who are unemployed it aims to provide you with essential skills such as reading, writing, numeracy and the confidence to find employment or progress onto further education and training.

The Get Ready for Work programmes offers hands-on practical experience in an educational and or work-placement environment. Programmes are currently available in areas of Hospitality and Construction.

The Get Ready for Work Programme (GRfW) can help you to:

• Achieve personal goals
• Learn new skills
• Gain qualifications
• Gain work experience
• Progress into employment or further study/training

In the first instance get in contact with your Skills Development Scotland (SDS) Careers Advisor who will be able to advise on the programme suitable to your needs.
