Training Options

At Forth Valley College, we can offer a range of flexible training solutions ensuring there is a training option to suit your need.

Training available ranges from public courses available to everyone to bespoke packages tailored exactly to your needs.  

Training options available include:

Public Courses

These courses run throughout the year at our various sites and can be booked for individual employees or groups.  Public courses are available in a wide range of subject areas and disciplines and will be offered at one of the college's sites.

In order for these courses to be a viable learning experience we do not run public courses with fewer than six delegates.  If public courses are cancelled due to lack of numbers, a full refund will be given and an alternative course date offered.

In-company Training

This simply means training delivered at your premises.  This type of on-site training is popular for large groups or tailored training.  It reduces the amount of time employees are out of workplace and helps our training consultants relate the training to your organisation's needs.

Tailored Training

Forth Valley College can tailor courses specifically to meet your organisation's training requirements.  Bespoke courses can be created to meet virtually any training need.  This type of training can be delivered at any of our sites or at your own premises.

A tailored training package will include course design, development and delivery.

Consultancy

We offer a number of consultancy services to our business clients.  Support services available include conducting training needs analysis (TNA), health and safety audits and advice on training.  We can also offer administration and management support packages.

International Delivery

Most of our courses can be delivered internationally.  We can also provide advice on accommodation and transport for overseas clients who wish to undertake training in Scotland.
